I also recently became a Certified Nurse's Aide. Our state test was last week and my sister and I passed with flying colors! Very happy for us both!

Birch box for the Home

I recently ordered a limited edition Birchbox as part of my birthday gift. I got it in the mail today and I really like it.










It came with a candle, some seeds to plant basil, a great smelling Tocca lotion, a cute veggie knife, a reusable bag and some yummy jams. I will definitely be ordering more limited edition birchboxes in the future.

Staying busy!

Oh my goodness have I had a busy week! I have an 11 month old and he got sick over Easter weekend. To make matters worse my whole family caught the bug as well. (Including me!)

Now that everyone is starting to feel better we went on an outing to target. I'm sure I've mentioned this before but I Love target. I feel like I keep them in business. :)
I bought some storage containers for organizing and more formula for my son.

But I have to say that the best part about today was the bouquet of flowers that I received this morning. My husband is currently deployed overseas and he randomly sends me flowers. I Love that about him! This Saturday is my 24th birthday (I know, I'm getting old!) so I've taken to calling them my 'birthday' flowers even though the card just said they were because he missed me.

March Birchbox reveal

I'm very excited to share my March Birchbox! It came with lots of wonderful goodies.

Whish shaving cream that smells good and I'm excited to try it since I don't usually use shaving cream.

Juice Beauty Stem Cellular Repair CC Cream that is a perfect light concealer and has SPF 30. You could also use it to improve skin tone or put it all over your face for a light foundation.

Serge Normant Meta Revive Dry Shampoo works really great. I'm a huge fan of dry shampoo for texture and if you just need a little more volume at your roots.

Etsy Orders Received :)

I love getting mail :) It's a secret addiction of mine. I think it started when my husband (then boyfriend) joined the marine corps. I loved receiving letters from him so I checked the mail constantly. And now I check the mail hoping for etsy deliveries. The packaging for all of my orders was so cute and each seller had either given me an extra gift or a notecard saying thank you.


I received this adorable checkbook cover by twopolkadots yesterday and I adore it!!!



These matchbook notepads by funkychickenscoop are perfect for my purse. I actually used one for the first time last night at the grocery store.
